Our Current Project : Tiny Home Veteran Community
New Florence, Pa. - Westmoreland County
Robinson, Pa. - Indiana County
We have the first two homes planned for Robinson, a Kit Home as well as a traditional Stick Build. Here are some pictures of the pads and porches being poured.
As exterior framing begins on our Stick Build Home, we are excited to see the traditional model give us that rustic cabin feel. That should match up nice with our Kit Home, once it is set up!
Transitional Housing - "Courage Cottage" - Ligonier, Pa.
We are excited to announce the completion of our "Courage Cottage!" This is a 220 sq.ft. housing unit intended to house our Veterans, as we help them transition from homelessness, into a long-term housing solution.
This area will be renovated to handle the short term, emergency housing needs of a Veteran facing displacement from housing. Allowing us to assess their situation and find the best route to transition them into stable housing.

PRESS RELEASE: Heroes Never Alone Receives Grant for New Florence Tiny Homes Project
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Heroes Never Alone has received a grant from the First Energy Foundation to support the New Florence Tiny Homes Project in Westmoreland County Pennsylvania, an initiative focused on providing safe and stable housing solutions for veterans and their families. The grant is designated specifically for the interior completion of one tiny home, contributing directly to progress within the development.
The grant funding will be applied in accordance with established requirements, with a progress and grant usage report planned for submission around November 1 (11/1). This funding supports continued advancement of the New Florence Tiny Homes project and reflects ongoing efforts to address veteran housing needs in the community.
